A Call for Sensible Debate

　　Lately this place has become a house of flying bricks. I must confess: I am totally confused, I have little idea how this all started. I had no plan to join in and muddle the water even further.
　　
　　On one hand I hear the cry for peace and the return to normality, on the other, I hear the call for more "bricks" to be manufactured and hurled. The call for peace has been swallowed by the cross-fire between two warring sides and their differences are seemingly irreconcilable.
　　
　　In my liaison with this forum, I had personal "pleasure" of witnessing as well as experiencing situations as such. In the past, it had always led to one or two “IDs” leaving the forum for good.
　　
　　I find it hard to comprehend sometimes the “fun” of such sports. I don’t feel excited and thrilled by “sniping”, “mud-slinging” or “personality assassination”. Frankly I have little time for such “entertainment”. Life is too short, I am sure there are other more pressing matters to think about than wasting time “combating” online.
　　
　　I also find it hard to understand why so many people enjoy switching “IDs”. I often wonder whether these people suffer from split personality disorder and this is the only way to let their “inner voices” free. I know I am a simple folk, I cannot see beyond the need of one “ID”, let alone the need of striking a conversation with oneself using “guises”.
　　
　　If you want to see the demise of this forum, then please continue the “fun”. Otherwise, act your age and let’s have our debate in a “grown up” way without hurting one another. I believe a sensible debate is the only way to secure "freedom of speech" and bring "democracy" to this forum.
