　　Apple's iPhones have become so prone to being snatched by thieves and robbers that the criminal act has inspired a nickname "Apple picking" as well as a significant spike in the New York City crime rate. every now and then, this apple picking results in bizarre stories. take this from New York Times for example
　　one day last November, a 16-year-old girl's white iPhone was snatched by a boy; the girl told two nearby police officers, who drove around in an failed attempt to find the boy, so one police officer dial the stolen phone's number, and imagine the police's surprise when another police officer answered !
　　turns out, when the boy attempted to sell the iPhone to another man, that would-be customer did the same thing the boy did to the girl, he grabbed the phone and ran. so the boy did what his own victim did, flagged down police officers and caught the robber.
　　unfortunately, the police officers looking into the two incidents caught on quickly. after some basic detective work, the boy and the man ended up in handcuffs and the girl got back her phone.
