Nobody cares a buyer. Everytime I want to evaluate myself, a sentence in the first text of College English recures to me -- “an average people with average ability“. That’s ture.
　　
　　After several years working in purchasing, I’ve got to accept this reality, whether I like it or not. As a matter of fact, purchasing is not a place in which people was stimulated to be heads above the rest. Superstar is not welcome here.
　　
　　9:00 start computer and log on SAP.
　　9:10 check e-mail, send, reply, cc...
　　9:30 receive a pile of paper -- internal order, advertisement, invoice, signed PO...
　　10:00 price, price, price...
　　12:00 meal
　　14:00 price, price, price...
　　16:00 input order, print order, fax order, follow order...
　　18:00 complaints, meetings, emergencies...
　　19:00 go back home.
　　
　　After scanning my daily work you know why nobody cares a buyer. I’ve ever envied and imitated those who with extraordinary personality and professional skills -- they rush around with notebook on their hands, laugh out loudly in the office, make vivid decisions promptly.
　　
　　But I couldn’t do it. I’m a buyer. I accept whatever comes without voice: complaints, criticises, sometimes compliments... whatever.
　　
　　I’m afraid of changes, which is not common among young people. I’m 25 years old.
